The Lake Shore team is dedicated to customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction. What I love about Lake Shore is our determination for continuous improvement. Our customers continue to challenge us to design unmatched products and provide unparalleled service. Most importantly, our employees will always be our best asset as we continue to challenge each other to grow personally and professionally each day.

Karen Lint received her BS in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University in 1985. She worked as a project engineer for several years at the General Dynamics Electronics (GDE) Division in San Diego and in Columbus, OH. At GDE, Karen transitioned from a software engineer to a project engineer responsible for the design, development, and integration of test programs for the B-1B Automatic Test Equipment.

In 1990, Karen joined Lake Shore, where she has held senior positions in Manufacturing and Marketing, serving as the Director of Marketing Communications, Director of Quality, and VP of Operations. As COO, Karen is currently responsible for IT, manufacturing, procurement, and logistic activities for the company. She has been instrumental in improvements to the company’s manufacturing and quality systems with Lake Shore achieving certification to ISO 9001:1994 in 1998, ISO 9001:2000 in 2003, and ISO 9001:2008 in 2010.

Karen also served as the project manager for the company’s transition to a new ERP system in 2014. This new system allows Lake Shore the flexibility required for growth in its endeavors to provide quality products and services to its diverse international customer base. The system provides for more efficient processes in customer-facing methods, new product design, quality systems for manufacturing, shop floor management, inventory controls, supplier relationship management, and financial planning.

She also serves as Secretary of the Board of Lake Shore Cryotronics, Inc., and in the local community, Karen has been a member of Rotary International and the Westerville Sunrise Club, and more recently served on the City of Westerville’s Community Planning Committee.
