Ogi Karabatković
Technical Support Engineer
The most-rewarding part of working as Technical Support Engineer at Lake Shore is assisting our customers while they are working on fascinating cutting-edge technology applications.
Ogi Karabatković is a 2007 graduate of the Ohio State University with a BSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering. He interned in electronics engineering within the space and medical industry before beginning as an Electronics Engineer Intern at Lake Shore in 2007. Ogi then joined us full-time in 2008 as an Instrument Engineer, in charge of the design and release of the Model 425 gaussmeter and aiding in the design and validation of the Model 336 controller and other instruments. He then moved to the Lake Shore Service Department, a move that allowed him to leverage his technical understanding of our products in daily interactions with product users.
Because of his background in instrument design, Ogi understands instrumentation operation at a circuit level, enabling him to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues more efficiently. As Technical Support Engineer, he also assists our customers with selection of equipment for specific applications, and works with cross-functional teams at Lake Shore to plan, coordinate, and document customer site preparation in advance of system shipments and the on-site arrival of our field engineer for installation.
